No More Kennels for Voddy!

Here at Team GB, we love hearing about outstanding service in hospitality (and other industries for that matter). Great service is the backbone of any company, and will be the reason that customers return time and time again.

Recently we experienced some excellent service with a difference.

As you may know, we love dogs at GBHospitality, our furry friends are hugely important to us and are indeed part of the family. When we travel for work or pleasure, it’s important to us that they are cared for as we would care for them, but also that they enjoy themselves and don’t feel left behind.

Our owner Gaynor has a beautiful dog, Voddy, (a Samoyed crossed with Border Collie) a real character who absolutely thrives on company and plenty of exercise. Putting Voddy into kennels is a real no no for Gaynor, so the search was on and she came across a luxury hotel for dogs. No More Kennels Luxury Dog Hotel, Spa and Resort in Warrington.

GB undertook research into previous reviews and was blown away, hence Voddy was lucky enough to get a visit for a fabulous 4 night holiday. 

Here is the background: The UK’s biggest and most luxurious dog hotel and resort was set up by Rebeckah Vaughan, who saw a niche in the market after feeling heartbroken about leaving her Chiwawa in a ‘concrete jail’.

NMK was soon making headlines, and recently Speaking to Liverpool’s The Guide, she says that although it seems there are situations where our dogs sometimes can’t be put first, No More Kennels can assure that your dog will always be able to come first – every breed is welcome, and there are even special rooms for those on medication.

And get this – each dog has their own room, with fresh linen every day. There are teddy bears, TVs in each room, and specially crafted outdoor spaces with fantastic play equipment. Staff are on hand constantly to help calm nervous pups (or equally overactive ones!) and the dogs really are happy and healthy here.

Don’t just take our word for it, The resort has even been rated 5 stars by Warrington Borough Council under the Animal Boarding Establishments Act – an extremely well deserved accolade.

If you are worried about leaving your dog, look no further, No More Kennels provides a safe space for your pooch, and it gets even better: whilst away we were even able to check in on Voddy via a web cam and see him playing and exercising in the play area, which is fantastic for peace of mind.

Four days without Voddy was hard for GB, but for him, he made it quite clear that it wasn’t long enough. The whole NMK ethos is truly exceptional, and Voddy had a brilliant experience. He fit right in, made lots of  friends, (two legged and four legged) and had a truly luxurious hotel stay with Rebeckah, Nicole and the team.
