The Laura Ashley Effect: Cwrt Bleddyn

This week the first Laura Ashley Tea Room was officially opened in Wales – at The Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel and Spa, which marks the latest venue in the spectacular Laura Ashley Hospitality journey since launching in 2013.

The opening heralded a traditional welsh menu complete with Welshcakes, Bara Brith, sandwiches, buttermilk scones and classic Welsh savoury dishes. And all served by a professional and friendly team, all of whom have been trained in the Laura Ashley brand standard.

Cwrt Bleddyn will offer two Tea Rooms, one of which has been inspired by its beautiful grounds and gardens, the second by its history and Tudor connections – both of which are in perfect keeping with the Laura Ashley Hospitality brand.

Launching in 2013, Laura Ashley Hospitality started out with 49-bedroom hotel Laura Ashley the Manor Elstree in Hertfordshire, and now has a Worldwide reputation across 31 countries. It expanded into Tea Rooms in 2017 with the first opening in Solihull. Two years later and Cwrt Bleddyn will be the ninth in the collection.

One of the major milestones for Laura Ashley was opening her factory in Wales, unknowingly creating a strong Welsh connection for the brand. This latest opening is a fitting nod to this heritage, and we wish them every success.
