Industry Round Up 27.4.20

This week we saw the incredible efforts of Captain Tom Moore who has captured the heart of the nation by walking 100 lengths of his garden to raise money for the NHS charities together. The total amount raised by the time he walked his 100 length was £28 million – just amazing.

More good new from Manchester as once again Manchester Evening News creates their latest fundraising campaign ‘CovAid 19’. The MEN campaigns typically raise great awareness, most recently the fund for victims of the Manchester bombing. The fund currently stands at £15,000 with just under a week after launch.

More buildings have been lit blue in support of the NHS, one of our favourites is Lincoln Cathedral, although there are several hotels which also look spectacular. Which are your favourites?

Our favourite brand story of the week is once again Aldi. The soft toys will be sold on EBay and will raise funds for the NHS Charities Together and their chosen charity Teenage Cancer Trust. A well known and lovable character, shoppers go crazy for the teddies at Christmas time and is a great brand mascot for the supermarket chain. What a wonderful way to raise money whilst at the same time get your brand noticed.
