Hospitality Action Brings Together the North’s Leading Chefs for Charity Dinner

If you appreciate exceptional food, this is your chance to experience a true taste of the North, with some of the region’s most celebrated chefs coming together for one unforgettable evening, all whilst supporting the people behind our hospitality industry.

Taking place on 9 November at the newly refurbished Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere, Hospitality Action’s Northern Fundraising Dinner will combine an outstanding four-course menu with the elegant surroundings of one of Cheshire’s most iconic hotels. Hosted by Paul Askew, Chef Patron of The Art School Liverpool, the evening will bring together an exceptional line-up of leading chefs, each donating their time and talent to create a truly memorable dining experience.

Every ticket purchased helps raise vital funds for Hospitality Action – the hospitality industry’s benevolent charity supporting hospitality professionals and their families through times of need.

Among those generously giving their time is our client, Aiden Byrne of LI~LY in Knutsford, who will be cooking alongside an incredible line-up of chefs including:

Jack Bond of The Cottage in the Wood

Stuart Collins of Docket Restaurant

Mary-Ellen McTague of Pip at Treehouse Hotel Manchester

Sameer Sehgal of Fenix Restaurant

Whether you’re a passionate foodie, a supporter of the hospitality industry or simply looking for an unforgettable dining experience, this is a rare opportunity to enjoy the creativity of some of the region’s finest chefs in one spectacular setting, while making a genuine difference to the people behind hospitality!

We’re incredibly proud to see Aiden involved in such an important event. Throughout his career, he has consistently championed the hospitality industry through his restaurants, mentoring and commitment to developing future talent. That dedication was recently recognised at the Cheshire Life Food & Drink Awards, where LI~LY was named Cheshire Restaurant of the Year and Aiden received the Outstanding Contribution Award – a fitting testament to his longstanding commitment to giving back to the industry. His involvement in Hospitality Action’s Northern Fundraising Dinner is a natural extension of that philosophy, joining fellow leading chefs in supporting the people who make hospitality what it is.

Supporting initiatives that strengthen the hospitality community is something we are equally passionate about at GB Hospitality. Our Managing Director, Gaynor Black, is a proud Board Member of Hospitality Action North, helping to raise awareness and support for the charity’s invaluable work across the industry. This includes championing the vital services delivered by Hospitality Action, such as its Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), which provides hospitality professionals with confidential support, advice and guidance on a wide range of personal and professional challenges.

The Northern Fundraising Dinner is a celebration of the generosity, collaboration and resilience that defines hospitality. Bringing together exceptional culinary talent for one unforgettable evening, it will raise vital funds to ensure Hospitality Action can continue providing practical, emotional and financial support to those who need it most.
